Jerry Rothkoff and Janie Deleon Male have received Merit Awards from Tri-County Regional Medical Ethics Commitee (TREC).  The awards are in recognition of Jerry and Janie's volunteer efforts in providing education training to members of both TREC and the general public.

The study is a follow-up of MetLife's 2009 "Broken Trust: Elders, Family, and Finances" and examines the prevalence and impact of elder financial abuse in America today. It demonstrates how these crimes continue to decimate incomes, impact the health and well-being of its victims, and fracture families. Yet it still is under-reported, under-recognized, and under-prosecuted.

We are pleased to announce that Jerold E. Rothkoff has been voted by fellow attorneys as a Top 2010 Elder Law Attorney in the August 2010 addition of SJ Magazine.     

June 28, 2010 was a special day in our family's life.  On that day, our 5th child and 3rd son, Aitan Eli Rothkoff, was born.  He weighed in at seven pounds even.  Mom, dad, baby, and his four siblings are all doing well.  

Since our youngest children are 9 years old, it will certainly be an adjustment. However, it is an adjusment we are all looking forward to.  My wish for Aitan is that he is able to experience all that life has to offer.
